Nice people.

Nice people. Man spoke English. Both were very helpful. Had parking. By the river. Walked down the over about 15 minutes to get to the Dano festival. About a 20 minute walk to downtown. Rooms simple but clean. Must remove shoes to go into room. Hotel sign in Hangul so it was a bit hard for me to find.

A bit far from downtown.

Very helpful and friendly owner

The owner was so nice - he even walked us to a restaurant - then returned and gave us his card so we could easily find our way back. They also drove us to the train station in the morning. The room and bathroom were very clean.

The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. The owner of the hotel even drove us to an event when the cabs were taking too long.

Within walking distance to train station and short distance to Anmok Beach.

Owners and staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help their guests. Slightly away from the busy area so was nice and quite which was a plus. Very clean and comfortable rooms with water bottles provided. My mattress was too hard and when I mentioned this to the owners, they brought over mattress topper to my room. Highly recommend this place!

Short stay during the Olympics

We were staying at Tower Motel during the Olympics. The staff is very friendly, very nice. They even dropped us at the Holland Heineken House without any charge.

The rooms are not too big. That's probably not to uncommon in Korea.

Gangneung Olympic Stay

After adjusting to the smaller size rooms in Korea, everything went well. The staff and owners went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The owner's wife actually drove me two places to avoid the walk or taxi fare. Their level of hospitality is something one would not generally find in a US hotel.

The Tower Motel is located about one mile from the train station and two miles from the Olympic Village. This was not the most convenient location but forced me to walk numerous streets of Gangneung, allowing me to really see the nature of the city.

A basic hidden gem made better by amazing staff

Staff/management went over and above to help. They actually personally drove us at times to transit hubs or even the Olympic park. Very helpful, kind and friendly. We have exchanged contacts and may stay in contact. Close to transportation hub making it easy to get around

Very clean and very friendly staff. We needed a taxi to the train station and when none were available, the hotel owner gladly drove us to the station herself.

Very friendly persons owning this clean and well located hotel

Very friendly and helpful owners speaking good English, clean and comfortable, very well located within 20 minutes by foot from both the Gangneung KTX station and the Gangneung Olympic facilities.

Expensive for a business hotel but this was expected for the Olympics fortnight.
